Which is better, plywood or OSB?

OSB performs okay for wall and floor but Plywood is better for the roof and can be used everywhere. Quality in plywood means resistance to cracking and breaking.

Which is better, plywood or MDF?

Because MDF doesn’t handle moisture very well but is ideal for cutting, machining and drilling without splinters or chipping. Plywood is generally used for doors, stairs, flooring and exterior projects but also bends easily with the grain, so it is often used to create curved surfaces.

Which is better, plywood or particleboard?

Cabinetmakers use plywood for the boxes of their upper-end cabinets and many cabinet-refacers are refuse to reface particleboard boxes. It would seem that particleboard doesn't quite measure up to plywood.
